Sartaj is an articling student who received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Bond University, Australia in 2019 and then obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in Dispute Resolution from Bond University in 2022.
While completing his LL.B., Sartaj partook in numerous mooting and negotiation competitions to develop his legal competencies. He also partook in a legal internship with the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre to assist vulnerable and low-income clients with Family Law matters.
While completing his LL.M., Sartaj placed on the Executive Dean’s List for Academic Excellence and achieved First-In-Class Honours. He also sharpened his dispute-resolution skills by partaking in simulated assessments to develop his negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competencies.
Sartaj’s legal interests include Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Dispute Resolution, and Wills and Estates. He aims to further develop and refine his competencies in these areas during his articles.
Sartaj is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi which allows him to bridge the East Indian and Canadian cultures and serve clients in all three languages.
Outside of the office, Sartaj enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, playing sports, working out at the gym, travelling, and exploring new restaurants. He is a committed fan of his hometown hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks, and the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL.
